American Express and PAYBACK launch their first credit card with no annual fee

Applying for a PAYBACK American Express credit card during the promotional period will really pay off. Consumers will continue to save the EUR 40 annual fee that normally applies after the first year. Applications up to and including 31 May 2014 will qualify for ongoing exemption from any annual fee. In addition, customers will receive 4,000 PAYBACK points as an introductory bonus credit in their PAYBACK account – worth EUR 40 cash equivalent. The card is the successor to the first joint credit card from PAYBACK and American Express that was launched to great success in Germany in November 2012.

For instance, cardholders collect 1 point for every EUR 2 spent on the card – whether the store or online outlet is a PAYBACK partner or not. The only exception is petrol station transactions. In addition, double points can be earned at two favourite PAYBACK partners – where cardholders can collect 1 point for each and every euro spent. Card users can take part in quarterly draws. Round-the-clock customer service is available all over the world. In case of loss or theft, a replacement card will be provided free-of-charge. Cardholders can withdraw cash from more than 900,000 ATMs throughout Germany.

Customers can apply right now for the dm PAYBACK American Express card. Cardholders who choose dm-drogerie markt as a favourite partner can collect 1 point for each and every euro spent. Applications up to and including 31 May 2014 will qualify for lasting exemption from any annual fee on this card as well.
