CHANNEL21 reinforces online customer loyalty with PAYBACK

Home shopping channel has four new online shops on PAYBACK.de

CHANNEL21 is extending its partnership with PAYBACK and rewards customers with points in four more online shops. “We noticed a very positive impact just a few months after becoming a PAYBACK partner. And now we want to take advantage of this in our new online segments and strengthen customer loyalty on the Internet together with PAYBACK,” says CHANNEL21 CEO Klaus Skripalle. Germany’s third largest home shopping network joined PAYBACK in June 2014 and is the only company in its industry awarding points for purchases via a television-based sales channel.

27.5 million active PAYBACK customers and nearly 6 million CHANNEL21 customers can now look forward to collecting points when shopping at beauty store point-rouge, jewellery shop GEMONDO, anti-aging specialist linea and Monaco blue, CHANNEL21’s stylish women’s fashion store. “Nowadays, customers shop on all channels – in stores, on their TVs, online and via their mobile devices. The expansion of our PAYBACK online partners means we can offer consumers significant added value and the incentive to shop there again. Additionally e-commerce shops have the opportunity to clearly distinguish themselves from the competition,” says Walter Lukner, Managing Director of PAYBACK.

Since June 2014, CHANNEL21 customers have been able to collect points for purchases made via their televisions, in the broadcaster’s web shop and via PAYBACK.de. They receive one point for every euro they spend, and there are also lots of campaigns giving customers the chance for extra points.
