FRESSNAPF relies on cross-channel marketing with PAYBACK

FRESSNAPF has passed another milestone on its way to becoming the most competent, caring pet supplies company – from now on, the market leader will be using the PAYBACK bonus programme for all channels: offline, online and mobile.

FRESSNAPF, Germany’s leading pet supplies company, has become a partner of PAYBACK, Germany’s most popular bonus programme. This partnership will help FRESSNAPF move towards its goal of becoming the go-to company for everything related with animals. From now on, FRESSNAPF customers are able to collect points on every purchase eligible for a discount in 865 markets throughout Germany and in the online shop at www.fressnapf.de besides being rewarded with attractive special promotions: They will receive 1 PAYBACK point for every 2 Euros they spend.

“Animals are a highly emotional topic. Owners spend a lot of time and effort looking after their cherished pets. That’s why we at PAYBACK are particularly happy that we can now contribute to this relationship,” says Bernhard Brugger, CEO at PAYBACK Europe.
For FRESSNAPF, the PAYBACK multi-partner programme is another milestone on its path to becoming a customer-oriented cross-channel supplier: “True to our mission statement ‘Happier pets. Happier people’, we want to get to know and understand our customers better. With PAYBACK, we can now address their individual needs even more specifically and make them the focus of our daily business across all channels,” explains Alfred Glander, Managing Director responsible for cross-channel marketing. “We can also reward our customers with targeted vouchers and special offers with numerous benefits. With this, and with the personal, needs-oriented consulting service that we provide both online and offline, we can offer both new and existing customers special added value as the best place to go for animals and animal lovers.”

The PAYBACK card is currently used for more than three million transactions per day. Customers can collect points at more than 650 participating companies offline, online and mobile. REWE, Thalia, Opel and Deutsche Telekom were just some of the numerous major companies to join the programme recently. PAYBACK is the best-known, most popular and most highly trusted bonus programme in Germany and has a household penetration rate of 54 percent. According to TNS Emnid, it has already garnered third place in German wallets after EC and credit cards. 6 million customers use the programme via mobile apps.
