Munich – Mathias Entenmann (44) will become Loyalty Partner's new Chief Operating Officer and management spokesman for PAYBACK GmbH with effect from 15 June 2011. In this new role, he will be responsible for the Loyalty Partner Group's business operations.

His extensive experience – particularly in online business – makes him the ideal man to drive forward the expansion of Loyalty Partner and Payback into new markets", said Alexander Rittweger, CEO of Loyalty Partner.
Mathias Entenmann's main areas of responsibility will be product development, product management and the development of the online and mobile digital channels. He will join Bernhard Brugger, CEO Payback Central Europe, and Kai Klippel, CEO PAYBACK New Markets, on the PAYBACK management team.
Before joining Loyalty Partner, Entenmann was Chief Products and Services Officer at Betfair Ltd in London. Prior to that, he was Vice President International of Ebay's PayPal subsidiary in Europe and Asia. Another milestone in his career was the foundation of paybox.net AG in 1999, where he achieved great success with mobile payment services. Entenmann studied industrial engineering at the University of Karlsruhe.
