Munich, Hamburg – PAYBACK, its partner companies and millions of PAYBACK customers demonstrated outstanding support for the charity "Ein Herz für Kinder" (A Heart For Children) in 2009. A well-publicised fundraising week in October coupled with many generous point donations resulted in an impressive total of EUR 330,000. PAYBACK CEO Bernhard Brugger presented a cheque for the full amount to the charity organisation at the "Ein Herz für Kinder" gala. "We are delighted to support 'Ein Herz für Kinder' projects, because we know that every point donated goes towards children in need – without deductions of any kind", explains Brugger.
During the PAYBACK fundraising week from 12 to 18 October 2009, PAYBACK members received double points for purchases from participating PAYBACK partners Aral, dm-drogerie markt, Galeria Kaufhof, real,-, Depot, Europcar, Germanwings and Sportarena as well as twelve online partners, with double points also being automatically donated to the “Ein Herz für Kinder” campaign. Many PAYBACK members welcome the opportunity to donate points throughout the year.
