PAYBACK points for insurance policies from Direct Line

PAYBACK joins forces with Direct Line. The largest bonus programme in Germany and the subsidiary of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group are joining forces from April 2008, awarding points for customers concluding insurance policies for cars, motorbikes, traffic offences, private legal protection and personal liability. Direct Line has received numerous awards for its customer orientation, quality and prices, making it one of the most innovative car insurers in Germany. After the collaborations agreed with Vodafone, readybank and Marriott Hotels in 2007, Direct Line is another successful addition to the PAYBACK network. The cooperation will enable Direct Line to provide its customers with attractive additional benefits when they take out insurance cover. This will give the company the opportunity to better understand its customers’ needs and, at the same time, raise the brand’s profile in Germany. PAYBACK sends out 96 million direct mailings and 140 million e-mail newsletters a year and its brand is represented in 7,800 partner stores. This makes PAYBACK the largest communications platform in Germany. By teaming up with Direct Line, PAYBACK is catering to its customers’ requests for a well-known partner in the insurance business with attractive products and services.All insurance-related processes – from application processing to the issuing of insurance policies and portfolio management – will be handled exclusively by Direct Line Versicherung AG without any involvement on the part of PAYBACK.
