Points with vision – Apollo-Optik agrees long-term cooperation with PAYBACK

Apollo-Optik has extended its partnership with PAYBACK for a further five years until the end of 2019. As a founding member, Apollo-Optik has been an exclusive partner representing the optical industry in the international leading loyalty programme for over 14 years. “Our partnership with PAYBACK has proved its worth over the years. That’s why we are looking forward to continuing to grow with PAYBACK in the years to come,” says Managing Director Veit Weiland.

“We are particularly pleased when we are able to expand a long-term relationship with a partner who has been with us from the very start. It shows faith in our employees and our programme. We aim to generate even greater added value for PAYBACK customers and Apollo-Optik,” says Bernhard Brugger, PAYBACK CEO Europe.

This comes after real,- and dm-drogerie markt that also recently extended their contracts with PAYBACK. Other highly attractive companies – REWE, Thalia, Deutsche Telekom, Dehner and Opel – have also joined the programme. The PAYBACK card can be found in around 50 percent of German households and, according to TNS Emnid, is the third most common card in German wallets behind the EC payment card and credit card. More and more PAYBACK customers – currently about 3 million – are already using the programme in mobile app format.
