Munich, Berlin – Two of the most popular German online platforms have joined forces – from today, PaAYBACK customers can now collect points at www.payback.de when shopping on eBay. Every two Euros spent earns 1 PAYBACK point for each item purchased, whether as an auction or a fixed price, new or used. PAYBACK is therefore offering its customers another attractive option to collect points in time for Christmas. The global online market place eBay (www.ebay.de) is a further key partner in PAYBACK's ever growing online portfolio. Now customers can collect points in over 200 online shops. As well as eBay, points are awarded for online shopping via www.payback.de at e.g. Amazon, Apple, Baur, C&A, Conrad, Expedia, Neckermann Otto, sOliver, Tchibo, T-Home, O2 and Weltbild.
"85% of all PAYBACK members are looking to collect points and save money when shopping online. We are responding to this demand by systematically expanding our programme, including in the online arena", says Burkhard Grassmann, spokesperson for the PAYBACK management team. By adding e-commerce to in-store shopping, the bonus programme is reinforcing its position as market leader in Germany. "PAYBACK members who collect points online also use our retail partners at an above-average level and prefer to redeem their points for shopping vouchers at partners' terminals", says Grassmann.
To collect points at online shops, the customer starts at www.payback.de, enters his PAYBACK customer number and clicks to select the online shop to complete his online purchase. Points are awarded automatically.
