At last! The PAYBACK app is now available for Windows Phone

The multi-award winning PAYBACK mobile app is now available in the Windows Store. That means Windows smartphone users can now also take advantage of all the mobile features of this leading bonus programme. “We are delighted to be able to offer a Windows version of the PAYBACK app. We have now achieved 98 per cent mobile market coverage and can reward even more customers with points for their purchases,” said Katrin Hana, Head of Global Product Management Mobile at PAYBACK. Demand for the Windows version of the app has soared over the past few weeks among smartphone users. Customers recently voted the PAYBACK app into first and second place for Android and iOS mobile applications at the “Show Your App” awards.

The full range of PAYBACK app features is now accessible on Windows devices. Users can click to activate coupons and redeem them immediately, check their current points balance, shop in online stores directly from their smartphone and collect points. Points are automatically credited to the customer account when the PAYBACK card is presented at the checkout. Customers will also enjoy using the app’s other services, including the ability to search for ATMs and find the nearest PAYBACK partners in the local area.

The number of Windows Phone users in Germany has increased in recent months and now stands at six to seven per cent according to market information. The PAYBACK app has been accessed over three million times on iOS and Android mobile operating systems where it was already available. The company has doubled the amount of downloads of the app compared to the previous year, with around 150,000 new downloads every month.
