Partners make a long-term commitment to customer loyalty and multichannel marketing with PAYBACK

Alnatura, Dehner, TeeGschwendner and Thalia are extending their contracts with the bonus programme

PAYBACK is pleased to report that four more existing partners have extended their contracts with the market-leading bonus programme. Organic food retailer Alnatura, garden centre chain Dehner, bookseller Thalia and Germany’s largest specialist tea retailer TeeGschwendner have agreed long-term extensions to their contracts until 2020. “We are delighted to receive this vote of confidence in the strength of our multichannel marketing platform,” said Walter Lukner, Managing Director of PAYBACK. Combined with existing personal contact with customers in stores, the platform offered partners the opportunity to provide the right products on the right time via the right channel within the strong and successful PAYBACK network, said Lukner.

“Our partnership with PAYBACK gives us a unique selling point in the industry and a reach of 27.5 million customers who actively use their PAYBACK cards. It enables us to gain direct access to customers and provide them with personalised offers via all channels. This underscores both, our cross-channel strategy and our aim to respond to the needs of our customers in a relevant way, thus building customer loyalty in the long term,” said Roland Kölbl, managing director of Thalia Bücher GmbH. The bookshop chain joined PAYBACK two years ago.

Dehner has benefited from PAYBACK’s expertise in building customer loyalty for three years. “Our partnership provides significant added value for us and our customers as we can address shoppers directly, which enables us to guarantee even better service,” said Bernhard Hönig, CEO of Dehner. “Our aim is to continue acquiring new customers. That’s why we use PAYBACK with all of its marketing channels.”

“Every additional customer means more support for organic farming, the most sustainable form of agriculture,” said Prof. Götz Rehn, founder and managing director of Alnatura GmbH. He added that this was the reason why Alnatura – a member of the PAYBACK partner network for almost four years – had decided to continue its partnership with PAYBACK.

Tea drinkers have been able to collect PAYBACK points for the past six years. “The market-leading programme and its strong network of partners has enabled us to increase awareness of our brand and has made TeeGschwendner available to a wide customer base,” said Alexander Mehnert, managing director of TeeGschwendner.

PAYBACK recently announced that Galeria Kaufhof and Expedia.de had extended their contracts.
