PAYBACK bonus programme becomes a GmbH

Operator company Loyalty Partner reorganises as a management holding company with three legally independent subsidiaries

After eight successful years on the market, the PAYBACK brand has now reorganised as a GmbH (limited company). As part of a comprehensive restructuring programme for the entire Loyalty Partner group of companies and all its divisions, Loyalty Partner GmbH has been renamed PAYBACK GmbH with immediate effect. The management team will comprise former T-Online and T-Com chairman Burkhard Grassmann as management spokesman and the long-standing PAYBACK managers Dr. Andreas Betzer and Bernhard Brugger.

“We are delighted that the PAYBACK business will continue to operate under its original brand name. This is particularly important in terms of public communication and corporate image and helps maintain transparency,” says company and PAYBACK founder Alexander Rittweger.

“PAYBACK is the clear market leader and operates the biggest marketing platform in Germany. We aim to improve the benefits for our members further still by establishing long-term partnerships with existing partner companies, expanding our partner portfolio, extending our offering in the area of financial services, developing our online business and implementing our internationalization strategy in the medium to long term,” adds Burkhard Grassmann.

Strong growth necessitates reorganisation
After ten successful years, Loyalty Partner is preparing for the future as a complete service provider in the field of customer management by reorganising its company structure. The company’s internal divisions have been made legally independent. The name of Loyalty Partner GmbH has been changed to PAYBACK GmbH, and Loyalty Partner Solutions GmbH – specialising in IT solutions and process management in the area of customer management – has been hived off.

emnos GmbH, which provides consulting and services for data analysis and customer insights, was made legally independent in 2003 and is not affected by the changes. In future, all subsidiaries will be controlled centrally through the management holding company, the “new” Loyalty Partner GmbH.

As a result of the reorganisation, Alexander Rittweger heads up the management team of the management holding company in the position of CEO. “The restructuring process became necessary as a result of the strong company growth in the last few years. It enables each of the divisions to focus more closely and more efficiently on their own area of responsibility and allows them to take on even more individual entrepreneurial responsibility,” explains Rittweger.
