PAYBACK Poland enjoys successful first half year

Five million cards on the market – Three more big-name companies join the programme

Warsaw, Munich – Consumers in Poland are keen collectors of PAYBACK points. Just half a year after launching, the bonus programme is proving to be immensely popular in the country, with a total of five million cards issued. One million consumers registered for the scheme in the first two weeks alone. In urban areas, PAYBACK has achieved household penetration of over 20 percent. And with three more national companies now joining the PAYBACK scheme, there are now even more great opportunities for customers in Poland to collect points.

With the addition of pharmacy chain Apteka 1, Danish furniture store JYSK, and TV and online service provider Mango Media, the PAYBACK partner network is gaining some extremely popular brands that, crucially, are also experiencing dynamic growth. "We are delighted by the resounding success of this first half year and are doing everything we can to make the programme as appealing as possible for consumers. That of course also includes partners from a very wide range of sectors that are relevant to everyday life", says Kai Klippel, Managing Director Internationalisation at PAYBACK GmbH.

In addition to the classic points card, customers in Poland can also opt for a free PAYBACK card with payment functions. Points are awarded by companies including BP (the largest private service station chain in Poland), Orange and TP, Real hypermarkets, and Allegro, the country’s largest online auction site. Consumers can also collect PAYBACK points at Bank Zachodni WBK, Accor Hotels and Mix Electronics stores. PAYBACK Polska, based in Warsaw, is operated by Loyalty Partner Polska, a wholly owned subsidiary of PAYBACK GmbH (Munich).
